Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards. You’ll assist with inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other duties that demand precision and care to create an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements include 2+ years of meat cutting experience, being at least 18, and certification within 90 days of hire. Flexible schedules and a welcoming team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood according to store standards.
• Assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operational processes.
• Maintain product knowledge and ensure freshness and quality across cases, coolers, and sales floor.
