Chop Steakhouse & Bar in Miami is seeking a skilled Broil Cook to expertly prepare prime steaks, chops, seafood, and other grilled specialties in a fine dining setting. Previous broil/grill experience is required and experience with premium steaks is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous broil/grill experience is required.
• Experience cooking premium steaks is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook steaks and other proteins to guest specifications and company standards.
• Maintain consistency in steak temperatures, presentation, and portioning.
• Set up and maintain the broil station before, during, and after service.
• Ensure all food is prepared safely and according to health and sanitation standards.
• Monitor product quality and minimize waste.
• Communicate effectively with chefs, expo, and fellow line cooks during service.
• Keep the station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
• Follow recipes, prep lists, and daily production schedules.
• Support the kitchen team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
