Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician for an outpatient, patient-centered practice in California. You will deliver comprehensive, coordinated care with a multidisciplinary team, focusing on preventive care and chronic disease management.

The role emphasizes building lasting patient relationships, handling adult and senior populations, and participating in a supportive, value-based care environment.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and residency in Family or Internal Medicine required.
• Board certification or eligibility for medical residents in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Current California DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.)
• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible for medical residents
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current California DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start

For California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $260,000-$360,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
