Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a physician in California for an outpatient-only practice delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care within integrated teams. The role emphasizes time to focus on patients and collaboration with nurses and medical assistants in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include managing a broad adult and senior population with preventive care, chronic disease management, and follow-up visits, while enjoying a Monday–Friday schedule and strong relocation,

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required (or equivalent).
• Completion of residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible for medical residents.
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Current California DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start.

Required Qualifications:

For California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $260,000-$360,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
