Optum California is seeking full-time Primary Care Physicians to join our outpatient clinic, where physicians practice in a supportive, clinician-led environment focused on value-based care, collaboration, and patient-centered outcomes.

You will build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients while working within an integrated care model backed by Optum’s resources, technology, and collaborative teams to deliver high-quality care and improve health outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine completed.
• Board certification or board eligibility for trainees.
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain before start.
• CA DEA certificate and BLS certification or ability to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in outpatient setting.
• Conduct consultations, follow-ups, well-checks, and screenings.
• Care for adults and seniors.
• Work with dedicated nursing and medical assistant staff.

Optum California is seeking full-time Primary Care Physicians to join our outpatient clinic, where physicians practice in a supportive, clinician-led environment focused on value-based care, collaboration, and patient-centered outcomes.

This role allows you to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients while practicing value-based, patient-centered care supported by an integrated care model. Backed by Optum’s resources, technology, and collaborative clinical teams, you’ll be able to deliver high-quality care, improve health outcomes, and truly make a difference in the lives of the individuals and families you serve.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.)
• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible for medical residents
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current California DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start

• Manage patient care in an outpatient setting

For California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $260,000-$360,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
