Job summary

OptumCare seeks a physician to deliver patient-centered outpatient care in Montebello, CA. You will conduct consultations, follow-ups and screenings, working with a dedicated team to manage adult and senior patients.

Required MD/DO with residency in Family or Internal Medicine, CA license or eligibility, CA DEA, and BLS. Earn a competitive base salary with incentives and comprehensive benefits.

• Board certification or eligibility for residents in Family/Internal Medicine.
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.

• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in outpatient setting.
• Conduct consultations, follow-ups, well-checks, and screenings.
• Care for adults/seniors with dedicated support staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.)
• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible for medical residents
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current California DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start

For California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $260,000-$360,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
