Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to deliver comprehensive primary care in the Greater Sacramento area. The role entails working with diverse populations and collaborating with physicians and teams.

Relocation assistance is available, with a typical compensation of $131,000 to $170,000 annually based on experience. Two pathways are offered: traditional 8–5 schedule or a four-day 10-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Active California RN and Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• Current DEA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in community health or underserved populations.
• Commitment to serving low income, homeless, or medically underserved communities.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• In-basket management competency.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations with history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education and counseling.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
