Job summary

We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive primary care in the Greater Sacramento area. The role offers a salary range of $131,000 to $170,000 annually, with Monday–Friday 8–5 or a 4-day 10-hour shift option.

Join a multidisciplinary team focused on underserved communities. Active CA PA license, NCCPA, DEA, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active California Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA board certification.
• Current DEA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health or underserved populations.
• Strong commitment to serving low-income, homeless, or medically underserved communities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or other languages (e.g., Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
