Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience within our on-site clinics.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from a MA program, CPR/BLS certification, and may have phlebotomy experience. This is an on-site position supporting a comprehensive, value-based care model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, assist procedures.
• Perform front desk duties: scheduling, documentation, referrals.
• Maintain medical records and communicate results to patients.
• Support care team with patient plan of care and outreach.
