Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide a warm guest experience, handling both front desk duties and clinical tasks.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, giving injections, phlebotomy, and coordinating with labs and specialists. A formal MA program and CPR/BLS are required; MA certification preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and keep rooms clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Record and review patient information for providers.
• Front desk tasks: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient coordination.
