Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant closely supports a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and an exceptional guest experience. The role combines front-d desk duties with clinical responsibilities, reflecting our integrated care model.

The successful candidate will assist with vitals, phlebotomy, medications, and patient flow, ensuring accurate documentation and coordinated care across the patient journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; required where certification/registration is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, referrals and other care coordination.
• Record data accurately in the medical record according to guidelines; communicate results timely.
• Collaborate with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
