Zusammenfassung

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and exceptional guest experiences, serving as both a Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

You will take vitals, assist with procedures, prepare medications, and support scheduling and documentation processes across the patient journey in our primary care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of MA experience preferred, especially in primary care.
• Graduation from an MA program or related program required or strongly preferred.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where mandated by state.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to rooms and prepare exam areas, take vitals and collect health information.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by the Provider.
• Perform front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data accurately in medical records and communicate results to patients.
• Coordinate with care team to develop and update individual plans of care.
