Job summary

American Family Care Midlothian is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training and approved agreement. You will work collaboratively with other providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction.

The role requires PA/NP licensure, board certification, and ability to manage diverse cases, including urgent care. Onsite labs and imaging support are available at AFC centers, with comprehensive benefits and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Active and current PA or NP licensure, DEA number, and state-controlled substance cert.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• DOT Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take complete histories and review records for comprehensive medical assessments.
• Develop diagnoses and coordinate referrals to facilities and resources.
• Provide emergency measures and stabilization as needed.
• Interpret data to assess patient status and management.
• Educate patients and families on health care and promotion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
