Job summary

American Family Care, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide patient care. The APP will work with a collaborative team to ensure high patient satisfaction and manage patient flow effectively.

Responsibilities include completing health histories, interpreting medical data, and formulating diagnoses.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Emergency Room or Urgent Care preferred.
• DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete and accurate health histories and develop medical assessments.
• Formulate medical diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals.
• Interpret patient data to determine management and treatment.
• Provide health care instructions and guidance to patients and families.

Skills

Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family

Professional appearance and attitude

Able to multi-task and work independently

Education

ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified

Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure
