Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training and approved agreement. Works with franchised location staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction.

Responsibilities include comprehensive histories, medical assessments, emergency stabilization, data interpretation, and patient education. AFC offers a flexible schedule, paid time off, and training opportunities within a large primary/urgent care network.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified.
• Active and current PA or NP licensure in state of practice.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take detailed health histories and review patient records.
• Develop medical assessments and order appropriate tests.
• Institute emergency and stabilization measures when required.
• Interpret patient data to guide treatment decisions.
• Provide counseling and guidance to patients and families.
