Job summary

WilmerHale in Boston seeks a Pricing & Business Analysis Manager to lead AFAs and value-based pricing strategies for partners and practice groups. You will perform budgeting, profitability analysis, and monthly reporting, advising on pricing for RFPs and client engagements.

The role requires an experienced law-firm pricing professional who can work independently with limited direction and mentor junior staff, leveraging advanced Excel and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ directly related pricing and analytics experience in law firm pricing.
• Experience developing AFAs and advising partners on pricing.
• Strong pricing knowledge and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary pricing advisor to partners and practice groups; design and model AFAs; price for RFPs and pitches; monitor performance against budgets.
• Provide decision support with monthly reporting and financial analysis.
• Develop and deliver pricing analyses and presentations for stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor Pricing & Business Analyst staff.
• Look for process improvements using AI and automation tools.
