Job summary

BD is seeking a Manager, Pricing Strategy & Governance to lead pricing governance, strategy, forecasting, and analytics for the US Specimen Management team in Franklin Lakes, NJ. This role drives pricing decisions, develops pricing corridors, and collaborates with Finance, Product Marketing, and CIO to optimize gross profit and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pricing or related fields, strong financial acumen, and expert Excel/PowerPoint capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in pricing or related roles.
Strong business acumen with financial and economic metrics knowledge.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Pricing Governance & Reporting: build, launch, manage pricing governance processes and tools.
Pricing Strategy & Forecasting: assess and recommend pricing strategies with cross-functional teams.
Price Setting: lead annual list price setting and pricing corridors.
Competitive Pricing Intelligence: develop SKU-level price and volume database.
Offer Development Support & Analytics: model data-driven contract analyses.
Pricing Market Research: lead pricing-focused market research activities.
Continuous Improvement: drive efficiency and automation in pricing processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: align pricing practices across functions.
