Job summary

Pricing I/O is a fast-growing pricing consultancy helping B2B SaaS and Tech companies monetize value. The Pricing Strategist leads client engagements, shaping pricing strategy and monetization recommendations while coordinating with the client and internal teams.

This fully remote role involves working with a distributed team and occasional in-person staff meetings in San Diego, with a compensation range of $110,000 to $175,000 depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management, private equity, finance, or consulting services, preferably in high-tech B2B SaaS.
• Experience with pricing projects or strong interest in pricing.
• Polished written and verbal communications to tell the client a monetization story.

Responsibilities

• Lead a pricing engagement from start to finish.
• Collaborate with executive leaders to surface needs and shape strategy.
• Structure data sets for analysis to find monetization opportunities or value leakage.
• Build statistical models to identify patterns and pricing recommendations.
• Provide proactive communications on objectives, status, barriers, and results.
• Leverage AI to improve efficiency and outputs.
• Design and conduct market and customer research surveys (Kano, Conjoint, MaxDiff, etc.).
• Develop pricing expertise for software and share insights with clients.
