Job summary

PODS Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager to own the roadmap for Pricing & Revenue Science and to lead the development of models that forecast demand, price sensitivity, and revenue performance. The role partners with Product, Engineering, IT, Finance, and Marketing to translate analytics into scalable tools and processes.

You will lead a team of data scientists, set analytical standards, and drive experimentation and measurement frameworks to optimize conversion, margin, and capacity.

Qualifications

• Deep experience leading applied data science or decision science in pricing, revenue management, forecasting, optimization, marketplace economics, or related analytics.
• Strong fluency in SQL and Python; experience with R is a plus.
• Strong statistics and econometrics knowledge including regression, hypothesis testing, causal inference, and validation.
• Experience with predictive modeling, ML, forecasting, elasticity modeling, and optimization.
• Familiarity with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, cloud data warehouses, and Git.
• Ability to productionize analytical models with data pipelines, APIs, monitoring, and deployment lifecycle.
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations and influence leaders.
• Proven track record leading high-impact initiatives and building teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for Pricing & Revenue Science and lead model development and application.
• Design pricing and business experiments; build demand and revenue forecasts.
• Develop optimization approaches balancing conversion, margin, and capacity.
• Create frameworks to quantify impact of geography, seasonality, inventory, customer segments, and competition.
• Establish standards for causal measurement, validation, data quality, reproducibility, and monitoring.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, IT, Finance, Operations, Marketing to translate analytics into decision tools.
• Lead root-cause analyses when performance shifts and communicate recommendations to senior leaders.
• Coach a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts.
