Job summary

PODS Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Data Scientist I to join the Revenue Science team in Clearwater, FL. This onsite role reports to the Director of Pricing Strategy and Analytics and focuses on quantifying pricing impact using Snowflake, Python, and experiment design.

You will measure price elasticity, build demand models, and translate findings into actionable pricing guidance while collaborating with senior data scientists and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of applied data science or analytics experience in pricing/revenue.
• Experience with SQL on a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred) and Python.
• Proficient in regression, GLMs, and applied ML with judgment on method choice.
• Working knowledge of quasi-experimental methods (DiD, synthetic control, RD).
• Hands-on A/B testing experience with power calculations and metrics.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate code while ensuring quality.

Responsibilities

• Estimate price elasticity at corridor, segment, and channel levels.
• Build demand and conversion models incorporating price, mix, channel, and seasonality.
• Quantify pricing actions’ effects on conversion, utilization, and revenue.
• Collaborate on A/B test design including power and metrics.
• Conduct causal analyses when randomization is infeasible.
• Translate results into recommendations with quantified uncertainty.
• Auth analyses in Python using pandas, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
• Develop Snowflake data models used by analysts and tools.
• Create dashboards and reports for operational users.
• Present findings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Explain methodology and limitations clearly, in writing and in person.
• Document analyses for reproducibility and peer review.
