Job summary

PODS is seeking a data scientist on the Revenue Science team to drive pricing strategy and analytics. You will work with senior data scientists, pricing analysts, and product managers to turn commercial questions into rigorous, testable answers using Python, Snowflake, and modern data tooling.

As a on-site role in Clearwater, FL, you will build models, design experiments, and develop dashboards that surface model outputs for operational decisions worth millions of dollars to the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of applied data science or analytics experience, with pricing, demand, or revenue focus.
• Hands-on SQL on a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
• Python for analysis with standard ML libraries.
• Experience with multiple causal inference techniques is a plus.
• Experience in moving, logistics, e-commerce, or capacity-constrained businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build models and analyses that inform pricing decisions.
• Develop elasticity, conversion and demand models across corridors, segments and channels.
• Quantify the impact of pricing actions on conversion, utilization, and revenue.
• Design and analyze experiments, including A/B test design and power calculations.
• Run causal analyses when randomization is not feasible and translate results.
• Build reproducible analytical assets in Python and Snowflake; create dashboards for users.
• Present findings to leadership and explain methods clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
