Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense company is seeking a Proposal Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) in California. This role involves developing proposal strategies, coordinating financial assessments, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or finance, relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A DoD Secret Security Clearance is required. Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in stated fields for Level 2.
• 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years for Level 3.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans and schedules proposals.
• Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals.
• Coordinates collection of cost, scheduling, and performance elements.
• Researches and analyzes historical data for cost models.
• Participates in fact-finding meetings.
• Engages in pricing reviews with management and customer reps.
• Takes part as a member of the contract negotiating team.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)

Aerospace/Defense industry experience

Experience with FAR and DFARs

Supply Chain experience

Knowledge of SAP/ERP

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
