Meijer seeks aPricing & Promotional Strategy Partner in Grand Rapids to shape pricing and promotional strategy for assigned categories. This cross-functional role partners with merchant teams and internal pricing partners to translate pricing strategy into category guidance, balancing base price and promotional investment to improve customer price perception and financial results.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in pricing, promotional analytics, category management, merchandising, buying, or related retail/consumer goods role.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsabilidades

• Lead category deep dives to evaluate pricing, promotional effectiveness, and category performance, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with merchant teams and internal analysts to apply pricing frameworks and identify investment opportunities.
• Develop and maintain category Golden Rules, including base price, promotional cadence, and vendor funding expectations.
• Support scenario planning and ongoing monitoring of pricing/promotional impact on AUR, margin, and competitive position.
• Present insights to cross‑functional partners and influence decisions with clear, business‑driven communication.
• Contribute to annual reviews, testing strategies, and continuous improvement of pricing and promotional practices.
