Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager, Pricing—Commercial Excellence to lead senior‑level pricing initiatives across margin management, product portfolio optimization, SKU rationalization, and price optimization. You will guide teams, model profitability, and work with C‑level clients to implement practical, data‑driven pricing solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of revenue and margin pricing experience.
• Experience with value-based, transactional, discount leakage, and pass-through pricing.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L and cost drivers.
• Experience with Vendavo and pricing governance.
• Analytically driven with exposure to SQL, BI tools, and statistics.
• Consulting experience is a plus; MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead margin transparency initiatives and cost-to-serve analyses.
• Assess product portfolio and develop category-specific strategies and plans.
• Drive SKU rationalization and complexity reduction initiatives.
• Quantify profitability opportunities across pricing levers.
• Improve pricing discipline and implement price increases as appropriate.
• Manage client relationships and drive end-to-end project delivery.
