Chesapeake Search Partners in Rockville, MD is seeking a Pricing Manager to own the development, execution and governance of pricing strategy across multiple service lines. You will partner with sales, marketing, operations and finance to protect margins and standardize pricing across brands and states.

Responsibilities include setting pricing policies, guiding deal desks, supporting bids, and designing pricing for recurring contracts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years in pricing, pricing analytics, revenue management, or commercial finance.
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; experience with pricing/CPQ tools, CRM, and ERP.
  • Demonstrated track record of measurable margin improvement and disciplined pricing execution.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across sales, finance, and operations without direct authority.
  • Experience in private equity-backed and/or multi-site, multi-brand organizations, including M&A pricing integration.
  • MBA or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Pricing Professional).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pricing strategy, frameworks, rate cards, and price books across service lines and business units.
  • Establish and enforce pricing policies, approval thresholds, and discounting guardrails, operating an effective deal-desk / pricing-approval process.
  • Standardize and harmonize pricing across business units, brands, and newly acquired companies to drive consistency and margin capture.
  • Partner with sales on complex bids, RFPs, and strategic or large-scale opportunities, providing pricing scenarios, margin analysis, and recommendations.
  • Review and approve non-standard pricing and discount requests within the established governance framework.
  • Design pricing for recurring ITM and monitoring contracts, including renewals, escalations, and multi-site agreements.
  • Analyze margin, win/loss, price realization, and price leakage to identify and act on profitability opportunities.
  • Build and maintain pricing models, dashboards, and reporting for commercial and executive leadership.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and cost analysis to inform pricing decisions and value positioning.
  • Own pricing tools and CPQ, price tables, and rate configuration; drive automation and continuous process improvement.
  • Partner with finance on cost inputs, margin targets, and price/cost variance; support annual price-increase and escalation programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing on packaging, bundling, and value propositions, and train sales teams on pricing tools, policies, and value-based selling

Chesapeake Search Partners is seeking a Pricing Manager to join a growing, private equity-backed organization in Rockville, MD.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role will own the development, execution and governance of pricing strategy across several different commercial service lines. This role will partner closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance to protect and grow margin, standardize pricing across business units and brands, support competitive bids, and instill disciplined, data-driven pricing practices across a multi-state platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain pricing strategy, frameworks, rate cards, and price books across service lines and business units.
  • Establish and enforce pricing policies, approval thresholds, and discounting guardrails, operating an effective deal-desk / pricing-approval process.
  • Standardize and harmonize pricing across business units, brands, and newly acquired companies to drive consistency and margin capture.
Deal & Bid Support:
  • Partner with sales on complex bids, RFPs, and strategic or large-scale opportunities, providing pricing scenarios, margin analysis, and recommendations.
  • Review and approve non-standard pricing and discount requests within the established governance framework.

Analytics & Insight:
