Job summary

Envestnet seeks a Director, Pricing to drive disciplined, scalable pricing across customer deals and governance. You will partner with Sales, Relationship, Finance, Legal, and Product to improve win rate while aligning with strategic objectives.

You’ll develop pricing models, support complex proposals, lead deal desk governance, and build dashboards with KPIs to track price realization, renewal performance, and margins.

Qualifications

• Experience building and improving pricing governance (e.g., approval frameworks, escalation paths, controls, and documentation standards).
• Strong business judgment and executive communication skills; able to synthesize complex deal tradeoffs into clear recommendations and influence outcomes.
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI (or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establishes competitive pricing strategies to support revenue growth and market expansion.
• Develops product- and client-focused analyses to support pricing models, guidelines, and deal structures.
• Supports complex proposals and informs bid strategy with market intelligence.
• Leads analyses of historical pricing patterns and outcomes.
• Creates pricing dashboards and KPIs to provide visibility into price realization and renewal performance.
• Oversees deal desk governance, including workflows and guardrails to ensure compliant revenue outcomes.
• Partners with Product, Sales, and GTM teams to set and implement pricing strategy.
• Uses win/loss and discounting insights to inform pricing actions.
