Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in technical cost estimation, value engineering, or product design.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings; CDMO experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison to customers, guiding pricing discussions.
• Develop cost/engineering assumptions and estimation methodologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and sales to input accurate data.
• Provide margin guidance to support pricing strategies.
• Coordinate cost estimates with internal and third-party vendors.
• Identify process improvements to reduce quote turnaround time.
