Job summary

DuPont is seeking a seasoned Senior Quoting and Costing Leader in New Brighton, MN to own and optimize quotes for complex medical device projects.

You will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Commercial to develop cost models, validate inputs, and craft competitive proposals while maintaining governance and process standards. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
10+ years in engineering, application development, manufacturing engineering, product development, estimating, quoting, or related role.
Experience in injection molding and catheter assembly processes, preferably in a CDMO setting.
Strong ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering and manufacturing solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and global teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple opportunities with competing priorities and deadlines.
US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead Quote Development: review RFQs, specs, and requirements with cross-functional teams.
Develop Cost and Pricing Inputs: build cost estimates and validate assumptions.
Improve Quote Win Rate: analyze performance and competitor input for proposals.
Drive Cross-Functional Quote Execution: coordinate timelines and deliverables.
Manage Quote Quality and Governance: ensure templates, approvals, and data integrity.
Support Continuous Improvement: standardize costing models and dashboards.
