Job summary

DuPont Spectrum is seeking a Quoting Engineer to lead technical and commercial quotes for customer opportunities across the business. You will translate customer requirements into clear technical solutions, build cost estimates, and drive pricing inputs from initial request to submission.

The role interfaces with Commercial, Application Development, Product Management, Operations, Finance, and Product Development, advancing from quote preparation toward opportunity leadership to improve win rate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of experience in engineering, application development, manufacturing engineering, product development, estimating, quoting, or a related technical-commercial role.
Experience in injection molding and catheter assembly processes, preferably in a CDMO setting.
Strong ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering and manufacturing solutions.
US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead Quote Development from initial customer requests through submission.
Review RFQs, specifications, statements of work, and project requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather technical and commercial inputs.
Ensure scope, deliverables, and timelines are clearly documented.
Develop cost and pricing inputs and validate assumptions with operations and finance.
Improve quote win rate, speed, and margin protection through rigorous analysis.
