Job summary

AXA XL US Regulatory is seeking an actuary-level professional to support rate filings and regulatory submissions across major lines of business. You will collaborate with the Regulatory Compliance Team and actuaries to ensure timely bureau adoptions and filings, while analyzing loss costs and market trends to support rate indications.

The role emphasizes precise data handling, clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, and adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; nearly or recently qualified Actuary.
• Significant experience with property and casualty lines, especially workers' compensation.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with internal and external clients.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work with Regulatory Compliance to facilitate state approvals for bureau adoptions and new product filings.
• Coordinate with Business Unit Actuaries to meet filing and objection timelines.
• Provide statistical data and exhibits for filings and draft responses to objections from Insurance Departments.
• Provide impact analysis of industry loss cost changes on AXA book of business.
• Produce ratemaking indications for multiple lines of business.
• Monitor industry trends and development patterns.
• Conduct Loss Cost Multiplier reviews and update LCMs as needed.
