Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a preventive maintenance professional to manage the upkeep of building mechanical systems, including HVAC equipment, on a regular schedule. The role involves coordinating with other trades and maintaining records, with backflow system duties possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Backflow Prevention Certification (ASSE) required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with other trades.
• Make recommendations for purchase of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain necessary records and reports.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems, such as motor lubrication, filters, pumps, belts, valves, etc.
• May be responsible for maintenance of back flow systems.
• Inspect all systems and equipment on a regular basis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Make determinations on necessary preventive maintenance activities.
