Job summary

Black & Veatch Construction seeks a field-oriented professional to assist with the development, implementation, and tracking of CWPs and IWPs across discipline scopes. You may independently produce discipline specific CWP/IWP documents for basic projects and help ensure accurate documentation and schedules.

You will join a team that values hands-on field experience, collaboration with engineers and foremen, and a strong safety culture, contributing to project success across power, water, grid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; 4 year degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of cost control, scheduling, engineering drawings and other documents.
• Ability to do material takeoffs and field estimates.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; adherence to safety regulations.
• Comfort with ambiguity and moderate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, developing, issuing, and progress tracking of all CWPs and IWPs for the scope of work.
• Participates in integrated planning sessions for IWPs.
• Produces discipline specific IWPs for basic projects as needed.
• Develops documentation to support buy-in of superintendents and foremen.
• Coordinates with Project Controls on commodity curves and quantities.
• Assists in researching design, schedule, material deliveries, change management, and safety issues.
• Supports RFI interpretation and documentation flow with Field Engineer.
