Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Staff level professional to assist with construction work packages and installation packages from development through tracking. The role may produce discipline IWPs for basic projects and coordinate with field teams.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy in schedules and takeoffs, and collaboration across craft personnel and supervisors on a large multi‑project backlog.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; 4 year degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of cost control, scheduling, engineering drawings and other documents.
• Ability to do material takeoffs, field estimates.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations; ability to handle ambiguity.
• Moderate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, developing, issuing, and progress tracking of CWPs and IWPs for the scope of work.
• Participates in integrated planning sessions and contributes to IWPs for basic projects.
• Produces discipline specific IWPs and documentation to support buy-in.
• Assist in research for design, schedule, material deliveries, changes, safety, and quality.
• Interface with field engineers to provide constructible responses and support turnover.
