Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks an assistant for construction work package development and tracking. You will help prepare CWPs/IWPs, support planning sessions, and assist engineers on basic projects.

You will contribute to cost control, scheduling, and field estimates, while maintaining project documentation, safety, and daily site logs. The role spans field engineering to project coordination in a safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Some construction experience required.
• Complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) including background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, developing, issuing and progress tracking of CWPs and IWPs for the scope of work.
• May participate in integrated planning sessions associated with IWPs.
• Supports production of IWPs for basic projects.
• May assist in documenting buy-in from superintendents and foremen.
• Interfaces with discipline field engineer to provide constructible responses.
• Maintains daily site logs and supports safety culture.
