Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment at customer job sites in Georgia. You will follow machine guidelines, work safely, and drive to sites daily.

Responsibilities include completing service work orders, maintaining equipment records, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Strong mechanical aptitude, reliable communication, and ability to work independently are essential. CDL-B preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years with heavy equipment, automotive, or on-highway trucks.
• Mechanical background and tool knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• 21+ with valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Able to pass driver screenings and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer job sites daily to complete preventive maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment to identify deficiencies and performance issues.
• Perform maintenance at specified intervals and document work orders.
• Complete time sheets and inspections for services.
• Operate service truck safely and comply with regulations.
• CDL license if required.
