Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician for second shift to perform preventive maintenance on customer/rental machines on site across Georgia.

You will drive to job sites daily, run diagnostics on heavy equipment, complete work orders, and ensure safe operation of service trucks with CDL as needed. Ideal candidates have a mechanical background with 2–3 years of heavy equipment or truck experience, basic computer skills, and flexibility to work some

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.
• Basic computer skills
• Can work independently with little to no supervision
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekends
• Candidates missing one requirement will still be considered
• Must have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDL

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer’s job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiencies or performance issues daily.
• Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.
• Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.
• Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required
• Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
