RR Donnelley is seeking a Press Operator 2 for the Monroe, WI location on 2nd shift (M-F, ~3:00pm–11:00pm). Starting at $25.00 per hour with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.

The role involves setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining various press equipment, performing make-ready tasks, and ensuring color accuracy and quality. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the press, making minor repairs, and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and determine press usage.
• Skill to perform precise settings and routine maintenance.
• Knowledge of packing pressure for printing jobs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, and aligning images.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
