Summary

The Press Operator is responsible for maintaining quality standards by performing and documenting production injection molding and support operations, meeting production standards, schedules, and quality requirements.

Description

The Press Operator is a team member who ensures quality standards through operation and documentation of production processes, adhering to schedules and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machinery.
• Trim and deburr excess material from molded parts.
• Regrind excess material for reuse using grinding equipment.
• Visually inspect parts based on quality criteria.
• Prepare and pack finished parts.
• Report and assist in resolving production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Production Manager or designee.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Minimum 3 years of experience in a production environment.
• Familiarity with machinery, hand, and power tools.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and planning skills.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
