Job Description

Sheridan is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and detail-oriented Web Press Operator to join our team at our Brainerd, MN facility. This role is crucial for the 2nd shift, responsible for setting up and operating offset printing equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure work exceeds quality guidelines and production standards.
2. Maintain equipment operation during shift changes and breaks.
3. Meet or surpass production time standards.
4. Control production to meet shipping deadlines.
5. Perform preventive maintenance with the Pressroom Manager and Maintenance team.
6. Record maintenance and production data accurately.
7. Report unsafe conditions.
8. Minimize waste and errors.
9. Complete paperwork promptly.
10. Keep the manufacturing area clean and organized.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience with similar equipment or related education.
• Experience with pallet jacks, computers, hand tools, and small machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand/work for 12 hours with overtime as needed.
• Use of hearing protection and safety toe shoes required.
