Nesco Resource is seeking a Press Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running smoothly in a heavy manufacturing environment. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding metal-forming presses and related systems to minimize downtime.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance, experience with presses or heavy equipment, and strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical domains.
SALARY: $62,400 – $85,280/year, based on experience

As a Press Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently. You'll troubleshoot equipment, perform repairs and preventive maintenance, and help minimize costly downtime.
Your responsibilities will include:
Disassemble, repair, rebuild, and reassemble metal-forming presses
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment
Use hand and power tools, welders, torque wrenches, impacts, magnetic drills, and hydraulic jacks
Perform rigging, grinding, fitting, scraping, and machine alignment
Install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
Inspect equipment before and after repairs to ensure proper operation
Assist with new equipment installation and continuous improvement projects
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time
Train and mentor Maintenance Trainees and assist with training on new equipment
The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on industrial maintenance experience and the ability to diagnose problems quickly and safely.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of manufacturing and machine maintenance experience
Experience maintaining, rebuilding, or repairing mechanical presses or heavy industrial equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Experience using hand and power tools
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
Strong mechanical aptitude with a commitment to safety and quality
High School Diploma or GED required
Comfortable working with oils, grease, solvents, and in confined spaces
