Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking Maintenance Technician I/II to support preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment in Phoenix, AZ. Duties include diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance on production machinery, troubleshooting motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and belts, and assisting with equipment changeovers,

Qualifications

  • 1–5+ years of maintenance or related experience
  • Basic to intermediate mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Basic electrical knowledge preferred
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to work independently (Level II) or as part of a team (Level I)
  • Strong attendance and work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including motors, conveyors, gearboxes, belts, and bearings
  • Assist with or independently diagnose basic electrical issues depending on experience level
  • Support equipment setup, changeovers, and operational adjustments
  • Read and interpret work instructions, manuals, and basic schematics
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Maintenance Technician I & II
Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician I/II is responsible for supporting maintenance operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role is ideal for candidates ranging from entry-level to mid-level experience, with responsibilities increasing based on skill level and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
