Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic for an industrial manufacturing facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and keeping heavy equipment, overhead cranes, and facility systems running safely and reliably.

The position offers competitive hourly pay of $25–$32 with a contract-to-hire path after 90+ days based on attendance and performance, plus a MEC medical plan, dental, vision, EAP, and 401(k) benefits after conversion.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong experience with industrial electrical systems (up to 480V).
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with overhead cranes and related controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Comfortable using welding equipment and shop tools.
• Experience using a maintenance system to track work and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on industrial production equipment and cranes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and support crane systems and related components.
• Perform scheduled PMs, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including 480V.
• Repair components and fabricate parts using machine tools.
• Repair and replace piping, fittings, pumps, and air systems.
• Support carpentry, plumbing, and general building maintenance as needed.
• Complete work orders and maintain technical records (schematics, drawings, photos).
• Communicate equipment issues impacting safety, quality, or production and follow PPE and safety standards.
• Work with maintenance, engineering, quality, and operations to improve reliability and efficiency.

Maintenance Mechanic

A well-established industrial manufacturing facility is hiring a Maintenance Technician/Mechanics to support production equipment, overhead crane systems, and facility operations. This is a highly hands-on role for a strong industrial maintenance tech who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and keeping heavy equipment running safely and reliably.

What You’ll Do

• Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on industrial production equipment and cranes.

• Overhead Crane Support: Inspect, troubleshoot, and support crane systems and related components.

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled PMs, inspections, and corrective actions.

• Electrical Work: Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including 480V.

• Mechanical & Fabrication: Repair components and fabricate parts using machine tools.

• Pumps, Piping & Compressors: Repair and replace piping, fittings, pumps, and air systems.

• Facility Maintenance: Support carpentry, plumbing, and general building maintenance as needed.

• Documentation & CMMS: Complete work orders and maintain technical records (schematics, drawings, photos).

• Safety & Production Support: Communicate equipment issues impacting safety, quality, or production and follow all PPE and safety standards.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, engineering, quality, and operations to improve reliability and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Industrial Maintenance Experience: 4+ years in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Electrical Troubleshooting: Strong experience with industrial electrical systems (up to 480V).

• Mechanical Systems: Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Crane & Lifting Equipment: Experience working with overhead cranes and related controls.

• Blueprints & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Welding & Fabrication: Comfortable using welding equipment and shop tools.

• CMMS / Work Orders: Experience using a maintenance system to track work and PMs.

• CNC Exposure (Preferred): Experience supporting CNC machines is a strong plus.

• Material Handling: Forklift certification (or ability to obtain – company provided).

Available Shifts

• Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position with various shifts and locations (Tulsa/Claremore). Days, nights and weekend shifts available.
