Job summary

SPX Technologies is hiring for a manufacturing role in the Olathe, KS area within the Manufacturing - Operations group. You will assist in press brake setup and operation, support the brake operator with forming operations, and help label and sort parts for JIT kits.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, basic shop math, and safe use of tools. Prior welding experience with stainless steel is preferred; high school education suffices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.2 welding qualifications preferred.
• Previous stainless steel welding experience (11 gauge through 18 gauge) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in press brake setup and operation.
• Assist brake operator with forming operations.
• Label parts and sort into correct JIT kit.
• Assist in inspection of parts.
• Safely use hand tools, measuring tape, and machinery.
