Job summary

SPX Technologies is looking for a press brake operator at our Kansas facility to assist in brake setup and forming operations. You will read drawings, label parts, and support inspection while using hand tools and measuring devices.

The role requires teamwork, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd with potential OT, and pay is $26.03 per hour with shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.2 welding qualified preferred, but not required.
• Previous Stainless Steel Welding experience on 11 gauge through 18 gauge preferred, but not required.
• Previous welding experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up of brake
• Assist brake operator with the forming operation
• Place correct labels on parts and sorts to correct JIT kit
• Assist in inspection of parts
• Safely and effectively use tools such as hand tools, measuring tape, and machine equipment
