Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is recruiting for a press brake support role within its HVAC cooling division. The role involves assisting in brake setup, aiding the brake operator during forming, labeling parts for JIT kits, and assisting in part Inspection.

You will use hand tools, measuring tapes, and machinery safely in a team-oriented environment. The position requires basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to read drawings, and a willingness to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Welding qualifications preferred (AWS D1.1, D1.2).
• Previous stainless steel welding experience (11-18 gauge) preferred, but not required.
• Previous welding experience in general.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup of brake and assist brake operator with forming operations.
• Place correct labels on parts and sort to correct JIT kit; assist in inspection of parts.
• Safely use hand tools, measuring tape, and machine equipment; follow instructions.
• Support in press brake operation and perform duties as assigned.
