Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) is hiring Preschool Teacher Trainee/Level 1 or 2 to join a collaborative teaching team. You will support early childhood development through developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, nurturing setting, while using the HighScope curriculum to guide daily routines and interactions.

Responsibilities include observing and assessing children, partnering with families, maintaining classroom safety, and complying with RCMA and DCF requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and DOE-recognized.
• If diploma earned outside the U.S., it must be translated by a member of the American Translators Association or an approved credential evaluation agency.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a teaching team to provide warm, secure, affectionate climate for young children.
• Use the HighScope curriculum to plan environments, activities, schedules, and daily routines.
• Observe, screen, and assess children to support ongoing development and RCMA School Readiness goals.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment and engage with families.
• Manage the classroom and adhere to RCMA funding and DCF requirements.

Education

US-based diploma translation if earned outside the U.S.
