Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) is seeking Preschool Teacher Level 1 or 2 to provide developmentally appropriate activities in a supportive early childhood program. You will work with an experienced teacher to foster safe, nurturing environments and guide children through social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities include implementing HighScope curriculum, observing and assessing progress, and partnering with families while complying with RCMA and DCF

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (DOE recognition) and may include translations/credential evaluations for international credentials.
• Transcript documentation of DCF training requirements.
• FCCPC Birth-5 years OR ECPC OR CCAC OR equivalent.
• At least 9 college credits in early childhood education and 3 months field experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate activities in a quality early childhood program.
• Support physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children and families.
• Collaborate with Center Coordinator to evaluate Preschool Teacher Trainee performance.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Engage families as partners in their child’s learning.

Education
