Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) seeks an Infant/Toddler Teacher Trainee, 1 and 2 to join our early childhood program. You will work with an experienced teacher to provide developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, nurturing setting, using the HighScope curriculum to guide daily routines.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with competency exam transcripts; Level 2 requires specific credentials (FCCPC or CDA/ECPC/CCAC) or college credits in early

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler Teacher Level 1 requires a high school diploma or equivalent and transcript documentation of competency exams.
• Infant/Toddler Teacher Level 2 requires FCCPC Birth-5 years or CDA/ECPC/CCAC or 9 college credits in ECE.
• CPR and Pediatric First-Aid certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Support a warm, secure, affectionate environment for young children.
• Use the HighScope curriculum to plan environments, activities, and routines.
• Observe and assess children to support development and RCMA School Readiness goals.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Engage with families and manage the classroom.
• Adhere to RCMA funding and DCF requirements.
