Job summary

RCMA in Florida is seeking a Preschool Teacher Level 1 or 2 to provide developmentally appropriate activities within a high-quality early childhood program. You will work with an experienced teacher to support children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe setting.

Applicants should meet education requirements, including a high school diploma or GED or equivalent, FCCPC or ECPC, CCAC, and be able to collaborate with families and adhere to RCMA funding and DCF

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with DOE recognition.
• FCCPC Birth-5 yrs OR ECPC OR CCAC credential preferred.
• Transcript documentation of passing DCF Child Care Training exams.
• Minimum 9 college credits in early childhood education and 3 months field experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a teaching team to implement HighScope curriculum.
• Provide developmentally appropriate activities and monitor progress.
• Maintain a safe, healthy classroom and engage with families.
• Adhere to RCMA funding and DCF requirements.
