Cadence Education seeks a passionate Preschool Teacher in Clackamas, OR, to join our team. You’ll assist in delivering Cadence Signature Programs, support a positive classroom environment, and help meet children’s developmental needs under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures and maintain child safety.
• Collaborate with classroom team.
• Read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Meet state licensing qualifications for Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in managing, documenting, and escalating child behaviors in line with Cadence policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
